When most buyers go into home search mode - they may end up with 50+ listings to see. Naturally, that's too many houses to look at if you're limited on time! I will help you to narrow your search down to a couple dozen houses, with these items in mind:
- Send me two lists a few days before arriving: One should be of things you must have. The other should be for optional things you want. When a house can't fulfill your basic needs, we can eliminate it from the list.
- Know your budget. If you are getting a mortgage, know your pre-approved amount in advance so we can eliminate homes beyond your budget.
- How long of a commute are you willing to make each day to work and other activities? Traffic in the San Diego area could be different than your current location, so tell me your limits regarding drive-time, and I'll seek out homes based on my knowledge of drive times in the area.
Before we meet in person, I could send you recommendations for listings we should see. Or you might already have some top candidates culled from your own research. While seeing listing photos on the web is great, there's nothing like seeing homes in person. I can arrange any necessary appointments with other Realtors or homeowners and map a route. If we work efficiently, we could see 8 or 10 homes in a single day.
