When most buyers go into home search mode - they may wind up with 50+ listings to see. It should go without saying that's too many properties to look at if you're on a short visit from out of town! I can help you to narrow your search down to a couple dozen houses, with these things in mind:
- Before leaving town, put your needs into one list. Then put the things you simply want in another. When a property doesn't even meet your needs, there's no need to even spend time looking at it.
- Know your budget. If you are going to get a home loan, secure your pre-approved amount in advance so we can eliminate homes beyond your price range.
- How long of a commute are you ready to make each day to work and other interests? Traffic in the San Diego area could be different than what you're currently experiencing, so tell me your expected drive-time, and I'll locate homes within that radius.
Before we meet in person, I could send you recommendations for possible homes. Or you might already have some top candidates you could share with me culled from your own research. While virtual tours and photos are helpful, there's nothing like walking through homes in person. I can schedule any necessary appointments with other Realtors or homeowners and map a route. If we work efficiently, we could tour 8 to 10 homes in a single day.
