When most buyers go into home search mode - they may come up with 50+ listings to see. It should go without saying that's too many houses to see first hand if you're limited on time! I can help you to narrow your search down to 20-25 houses, keeping these items in mind:
- Come into town with two lists: One should be of things you must have. The other should be for optional things you want. When a house can't fulfill your basic needs, we can obviously take it out of the list.
- Have an established price range. This could be based on mortgage or a reasonable estimate of how much you'll get from the sale of your current home.
- What length of a commute are you comfortable making each day to work and other interests? Traffic in the San Diego area could be different than your current location, so tell me your desired drive-time, and I'll seek out homes accordingly.
Before we meet in person, I could send you my picks for listings we should see. Or if you've got a list of properties in mind, let me know what you've found. While virtual tours and photos are helpful, there's nothing like seeing homes in person. I can arrange any necessary appointments and map a route. If we work efficiently, we could see 8 to 10 homes in a single day.
