Rancho Santa Fe
Rancho Santa Fe is an unincorporated area located in the North County of San Diego almost six miles inland from the Pacific Ocean. "The Ranch" as it is fondly called, is a California historic landmark and is known for its large lots, rural ambiance and celebrity residents.
The greater Rancho Santa Fe area, adjacent to the Coastal towns of Del Mar, Solana Beach and Encinitas, is comprised of 4,000 households within a variety of communities. Home prices range from $1 million to $22 million and most are gated.
At the core of America's richest town is the Rancho Santa Fe Covenant which was created in 1928 to preserve the character of the community and rare landscape features, as well as uphold the quality of all future architecture and improvements. There are seven exclusive private country clubs as well as a Riding Club, Tennis Club, Garden Club, and a Community Center. Beautiful residences are set back from the picturesque roadways, which wind around the small village center, with most residential lots encompassing at least two acres.
Schools include Rancho Santa Fe Elementary and Middle Schools, as well as a choice of Torrey Pines High School in Carmel Valley and San Dieguito Academy.
